How To Care

- SPOT CLEAN AFTER USE
Make sure to clean your boots after use, as mud and dirt getting into the fabric can cause fibre decay. It is a common error to machine wash boots. Instead, use hot water, a rag and a cleansing agent like Nikwax's Footwear Cleaning Gel™ to clean the footwear.

- AIR DRY
To dry, stuff footwear and air-dry for best results.

Innovative Traction & Stability: The Vibram® Mulaz Outsole with La Sportiva's Impact Brake System

The Vibram® Mulaz Outsole with IBS (Impact Brake System by La Sportiva) offers an advanced integration of design and functionality, seamlessly connecting to the mid-sole for enhanced performance. Engineered with an optimal balance of lug height and spacing, it ensures superior grip, self-cleaning properties, and lightweight efficiency. The toe area is precision-crafted for rock climbing, delivering maximum sensitivity and control. Developed by La Sportiva's R&D team, the Impact Brake System is an innovative technology that absorbs negative ground impact, improves traction, and optimizes grip, particularly on downhill terrain. By strategically positioning lugs to maximize ground contact, the system significantly reduces impact forces, providing exceptional stability and safety for athletes and outdoor enthusiasts navigating challenging and competitive environments.

Double Heel™ Innovation with Reinforced Toe & Heel Protection

Engineered for outstanding performance and comfort in outdoor environments, these boots feature the innovative Double Heel™ construction for exceptional walkability. Their ergonomic, enveloping, and precise design ensures a secure and supportive fit, even during extended wear. Reinforced TPU shells integrated into the toe and heel provide enhanced durability and protection against impacts and abrasions. Combining functionality with resilience, these boots are the perfect choice for confidently navigating challenging terrains.

La Sportiva was founded in 1928 by Narciso Delladio, who handcrafted wooden and leather boots for lumberjacks and farmers in the Fassa and Fiemme valleys of the Dolomites, Italy. After World War II, increased demand for boots prompted Narciso to hire additional workers, and the reputation of "Calzoleria Sportiva" spread beyond the local valleys. Building on this success, La Sportiva continued to grow and evolve.

Today, the company manufactures boots and shoes in the Fiemme Valley for a wide range of outdoor activities, including climbing and mountaineering—categories in which La Sportiva holds market leadership—as well as mountain running, trekking, and the ski mountaineering market. Recently, the company expanded into the ski mountaineering segment and the apparel market, offering a complete selection of technical clothing for running, ski mountaineering, and climbing. La Sportiva, which primarily produces its products at its headquarters in Ziano di Fiemme, is now distributed in more than 70 countries worldwide.
