Chlorine Dioxide Water Purification Tablets

Chlorine dioxide kills bacteria, viruses and cysts in water including Giardia and Cryptosporidium. These water purifying tablets are the safest and most effective form of chemical water disinfection and unlike chlorine, have no noticeable aftertaste.

1. Remove any dirt or debris from the water by straining through a piece of cotton or fine-weave fabric. The water should be relatively clear prior to treatment.
2. Add 1 tablet to every 1 litre of water. If the water is very cold or if heavy microbiological contamination is suspected, add 2 tablets per litre of water.
3. Shake the container thoroughly and then wait for at least 10 minutes before drinking. If 2 tablets have been added, wait for at least 30 minutes.

DOSAGE
Each tablet is designed to release approximately 3mg/l of CIO2 solution (active biocide) dissolved in water.
